NLP Educator level

Unfortunately there are too many NLP Trainers Trainings where the participant can go out the day after the training and run NLP Programs. There is a need within the field to distinguish quality experienced trainers and this the IPANLP endorsed NLP Educator level is it!

IPANLP recognise two levels of NLP Trainer: an NLP Trainer and an NLP Educator

In the early days, someone who was particularly excellent as a Practitioner was encouraged to teach what they were doing to other would be Practitioners.  Those who demonstrated excellence at teaching, were then encouraged to teach others, how to teach!!

Sadly the Business of NLP has created an environment where a person can go to a Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Trainers training in one go and then, without any experience (nor practical understanding) can go teach and certify at Practitioner & Master Practitioner level.

As a participant it is difficult to gauge the experience level of the trainer before committing to go on the course.

IPANLP has addressed this with a level which signifies that the Trainer is either new, or has gained relevant experience as a Practitioner and Trainer.  This is now the NLP Educator Level.

NLP Educator

Upgrading to NLP Educator can be achieved by upgrading to NLP Agent of Change and NLP Meta Agent of Change to embrace New Code NLP. We believe that approaching New Code NLP Courses from the perspective of a Trainer is invaluable and in fact we think NLP Trainer training is valuable to someone new to NLP who would pursue NLP Agent of Change and Meta Agent of Change from the perspective of a trainer!

Training at this level, expectations are that you know your NLP content, process and patterns at both "NLP Agent of Change" (Practitioner Level) and "NLP Meta Agent of Change" (Master Practitioner Level), Classic Code and New Code NLP. Someone coming from a New Code NLP background will generally have a deeper knowledge, application and understanding of Classic Code NLP in order to uncover the flaws in Classic Code and the learnings of New Code NLP.

NLP content is NOT taught at this level, although some courses may have 'review' modules to demonstrate how to teach certain NLP concepts and help participants recap and extend their knowledge of NLP content and patterns.

The training focuses on utilising NLP patterning in the teaching of NLP to others. Using NLP to teach, how to teach NLP!

Learning the New Code Training format (John Grinders Training Cycle) which sets a frame for the training topic utilising metaphor and then conditions the patterns at the unconscious level through exercises, tasks and games and for conscious  learning through discussion after completing the exercises. This expands the choice of the NLP Trainer to add their own personality and ideas and extends the field of NLP organically and naturally.  This is the art of the true NLP Trainer.

It is reasonable for a competent NLP Educator to have both an ability to install patterns unconsciously and also have the charisma of an entertaining presenter.

Certification will initially be at NLP Trainer level and after demonstrating at least 2 years experience at delivering high quality New Code NLP Programs the applicant may be awarded with NLP Educator.

Those previously certified as NLP Trainers with other organisations and who have at least 2 years demonstrateable experience at running NLP Programs may apply to upgrade to NLP Educator to distinguish themselves as experienced NLP Educators.
